A report by workforce planning platform Orgvue found that 78 percent of organizations have experienced AI projects that failed or stayed in pilot phases despite record levels of investment in the technology. The same report noted that organizations continue to face challenges in moving AI initiatives beyond initial testing stages.
SurveyMonkey data indicated that more than a third of workers accept AI-generated responses with little or no review. More than half of workers said they trust responses from colleagues more than those produced by AI systems. These findings point to ongoing uncertainty among both employers and employees about how to integrate AI tools into daily operations.
The second-annual Fortune Workplace Innovation Summit is scheduled to take place in Atlanta this week. Sessions will address AI deployment strategies, labor market effects, performance reviews, salary transparency, and leadership practices. Anthropic chief people officer Hannah Pritchett and Indeed Chief Economist Svenja Gudell are among the scheduled speakers.
Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Chair Andrea Lucas and Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens will also participate in discussions.
