The app sells surplus restaurant meals in surprise bags at discounts of up to 70 percent and had more than 20 restaurants and 10,000 users by mid-April. The company collects a 10 percent commission and became profitable in late 2025.
Hashizume established Booon in Japan in 2022 to convert food waste into insect protein for aquaculture feed. The Nagasaki startup collects waste from farms and processing plants, processes it for mealworms, and produces species-specific fishmeal. Belle Hayman and Benjamin Michelson operate FoodFilled in Australia, collecting unsold food from about 170 supermarkets, cafés, and bakeries for distribution to partner agencies.
The Melbourne charity, formally established in 2020, states it has delivered more than 1.1 million meals.
Ravichandran and Gobinath Pandurangan founded Modulus Housing in India. The company produces low-rise modular buildings that can be installed in two days and reports completing over 1,200 structures, including hospitals and schools. In December 2025 the startup raised 700 million rupees in a Series A round.
Shubham Vishvakerma started Arc Robotics to develop snake-like robotic arms for inspection and cleaning in confined spaces such as sewers and industrial tanks.
Mehta and Anisha Sharma established the Careleavers Inner Circle Forum in India in 2021 to assist orphans and foster youth after they leave institutional care. The nonprofit provides housing, training, and a digital identification system for access to government services.
Aishworya Shrestha founded Heart of Nepal and Antardhoni Nepal to deliver education, economic programs, and mental health services. Paras Kalura serves as COO of Migrasia Global Solutions, which reports recovering about HK$280 million for migrant workers through debt cancellations and refunds.
Yamada launched My Fit in 2021 and introduced the Mylily app for women experiencing menopause, offering video consultations with physicians.
