Forbes Asia Names 300 Recipients for 30 Under 30 List Class of 2026

The 11th annual list recognizes young entrepreneurs, researchers, athletes and artists from 18 Asia-Pacific countries and territories. Selections were drawn from nearly 4,000 nominations and reviewed by Forbes Asia editors and an external panel.

Forbes Asia published its 30 Under 30 Asia list for 2026 on May 27, naming 300 individuals under age 30 across ten categories. The list includes founders of robotics and AI startups, venture investors, scientists, athletes and artists. India contributed the largest share with 78 honorees, followed by China with 46, Australia with 38 and Japan with 32.

As of April the firm reported nearly 20,000 pre-orders for the M1 and raised more than $70 million across three funding rounds, reaching a valuation of $351 million in October. Aniket Shah, Ujjwal Sukheja and Saran S founded Swish, an Indian quick-commerce app that delivers freshly prepared meals in ten minutes.

The startup, initially self-funded, raised $54 million, including a $38 million Series B round in March led by Bain Capital Ventures and Hara Global Capital at a $139 million valuation.

Morcombe and Oliver Farnill started Fluency in Melbourne in 2023. The company offers plug-and-play software that uses AI to automate repetitive business tasks. Yuki Noro founded Tokyo-based Akari, which develops cloud-based AI tools for construction management, structural calculations and code compliance.

In January the firm raised ¥5 billion ($31 million) from Mitsubishi Electric at a ¥100 billion valuation. Hikari Okita, assistant professor at the Institute of Science Tokyo, is studying xeno-nucleic acid, a synthetic genetic material more durable than DNA or RNA.

Filipina tennis player Alexandra Eala reached the WTA Top 50 in 2025. She became the first Filipina to defeat two Top 10 players, reach a WTA final and win a Grand Slam main-draw match. Model Bhavitha Mandava was the first Indian to open Chanel’s Métiers d’Art collection in December and was named a Chanel house ambassador in March.

She appeared at the Met Gala in May. The final selections represent 18 countries and territories. Roughly one-quarter of the honorees are women, and the average age of the group is under 30.
