Former Chancellor Discusses Research Project on National Unity

He described being dressed in red, white and blue by his mother and seeing Union Jack flags at school and in his parents' shop. He said the experience left him feeling British and patriotic, and that the feeling stayed with him.
Javid stated that people may have different views but the project seeks to hear from as many as possible. He described it as a national conversation open to everyone.
