Former General Vannacci Launches Futuro Nazionale Party After Leaving League

Futuro Nazionale claims it has surpassed 100,000 members and currently has eight deputies in parliament. The eight deputies include defectors from the League and from centrist Forza Italia. Vannacci won more than 530,000 preferences in the European Parliament elections while a member of the League.
He self-published the book "Il mondo al contrario" in 2023 and entered politics with Matteo Salvini’s League in 2024. " Current polls place Futuro Nazionale support at between 4% and nearly 5%. Italy’s next general election is scheduled for 2027.
