Mark, a former member of K-pop group NCT, has established his own agency named Upper Room and will serve as its co-CEO, his representatives said Thursday. The representatives said Upper Room was founded with colleagues Mark has worked closely with. Mark plans to run the company as a producer of music-based content that integrates video, visual art and performance.

It added that Upper Room would provide broad support for Mark's music, vision and other projects. Mark debuted in 2016 as part of NCT and was a core member of its subunits NCT 127 and NCT Dream. His exclusive contract with SM Entertainment ended in April, after which he left the group.

Yonhap reported the announcement on June 4.
