Four California Colleges Place in Princeton Review Top 20 for Classroom Experience
Thomas Aquinas College ranked fifth nationally while Pomona College came in ninth. Claremont McKenna College and Harvey Mudd College also appeared in the top 20. California had more schools in the list than any other state.

Four California colleges ranked among the top 20 nationally in the Princeton Review’s Best Classroom Experience list, nypost.com reported. Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula placed fifth, the highest of any California school. Pomona College in Claremont followed at ninth.
Claremont McKenna College and Harvey Mudd College, both also in Claremont, finished at 14th and 16th. The three Claremont institutions accounted for three of California’s four entries. Washington and Lee University took first place nationally, followed by Wellesley College, Reed College and Denison University.
The rankings draw from student survey responses on teaching quality, classroom engagement and overall academic experience. California recorded more top-20 schools than any other state.
