Four Men Appear in Kenyan Court Over Murder of Scottish Businessman Campbell Scott
Four men appeared in a Mombasa court in connection with the murder of Campbell Scott, a 58-year-old Scottish businessman found dead in a sack in Makongo Forest. The suspects were arrested on Saturday and remanded in custody for 14 days. They face separate investigation for a violent robbery near Mombasa.

The men, identified as Bernard Mbusu, Isaac Kinoti Kobia, Evans Muthengi Mutaki and Kelvin Mwangi Njoroge, were arrested on Saturday. They have not been charged and were remanded in custody for 14 days for further police investigations. The court heard that detectives needed time to conduct forensic analysis of the four men's mobile phones.
The four men are due to appear in court again on 27 April. They are under investigation for separate allegations that they targeted another man in a violent robbery at Nyali near Mombasa.

Prosecutors believe Campbell Scott was held in the Pipeline district for a period while attempts were made to extract money from his bank accounts. The BBC reported these details on the investigation.
Prior Arrests and Related Incident Two other men were arrested last year over the murder.
One of the two other men was charged with murder. An American reported being attacked and robbed by six men at his holiday apartment, in connection with the separate Nyali robbery allegations.
