Four players commit to 2026 MLB Home Run Derby in Philadelphia
Tampa Bay Rays player Junior Caminero, New York Yankees player Ben Rice, Kansas City Royals player Jac Caglianone and Boston Red Sox player Willson Contreras will compete in the event at Citizens Bank Park on Monday. The field is still forming ahead of the annual exhibition.

Yankees player Ben Rice has hit 25 home runs in 2026 with a longest drive of 433 feet. He ranks in the 87th percentile in average exit velocity and the 89th percentile in barrel rate. Rice has struck out 86 times in 85 games. Kansas City Royals player Jac Caglianone has 14 home runs and a longest drive of 444 feet.
He ranks in the top 12 in several exit-velocity categories and hit nine home runs in June. Caglianone ranks in the bottom 20th percentile in squared-up percentage and the 14th percentile in whiff rate.
Sox player Willson Contreras has 20 home runs and a longest drive of 449 feet. His production has been a bright spot for the team this season. The field remains open for additional entrants before Monday's event.
