Four Players Share First-Round Lead at ISCO Championship

Lucas Glover, Steven Fisk, Stephan Jaeger and Troy Merritt each shot 7-under 63 to share the first-round lead Thursday in the ISCO Championship at Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky. Glover made an 11-foot birdie putt on the par-3 17th hole and followed with a 163-yard approach to 3 feet on the par-4 18th.

Pontus Nyholm and Chan Kim stood one stroke back at 6-under. Patton Kizzire, Adam Svensson, Jeffrey Kang, Jeong Weon Ko, Aaron Wise and Ben James were at 65. Glover, 46, opened with a 63 last week at the John Deere Classic before finishing third.

"Very similar to last week, the first couple days, hit it nice, made some putts and no bogeys. Always a good way to start," he said. "First time here at this course. " Nyholm said conditions favored low scores early.

"It was pretty easy this morning - no wind and pretty soft greens," he said. " Jackson Koivun shot 67 after missing the cut in his professional debut last week. Defending champion William Mouw and NCAA champion Preston Stout each shot 68.

The winner earns entry into the PGA Championship but not the Masters.
