Four-star linebacker Kaden Henderson commits to Texas A&M over Notre Dame and LSU

Texas A&M added four-star outside linebacker Kaden Henderson to its 2027 recruiting class on June 18, 2026. Henderson is ESPN's No. 1 outside linebacker in the 2027 cycle and is ranked No. 24 overall in the SC Next 300.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect from Tampa, Florida, announced his commitment to the Aggies on "The Pat McAfee Show" that afternoon. His finalists were Notre Dame and LSU, and he is no longer expected to take an official visit to Notre Dame scheduled for June 19-21, 2026. Henderson took official visits to LSU, Miami, and Texas A&M in spring 2026.

He recorded 219 tackles across three varsity seasons at Jesuit High School in Florida. 1 nationally by ESPN as of June 18, 2026. The class includes 14 pledges from the SC Next 300 and four five-star commits, including Zyron Forstall (No.

17 overall) and Kamarui Dorsey. Additional SC Next 300 pledges in the class are Frederick Ards (No. 110), Raylaun Henry (No. 53), and Myels Smith (No. 230). Texas A&M is positioned to sign three of ESPN's top 10 outside linebackers in the 2027 cycle.

Five-star offensive tackles Kennedy Brown (No. 5 overall) and Mark Matthews (No. 11) are also committed to Texas A&M for 2027.
