Projects under each creator’s umbrella are already in active production and development, Fox said. Under the agreements, Fox will help the creators develop premium intellectual property, expand into new formats, and build their brands by using the company’s ad sales, brand partnership, global distribution, and production capabilities.
The studio’s slate now spans long-form entertainment and short-form scripted and unscripted series.
“Fox Creator Studios was built around a simple idea: the most exciting entertainment businesses today are being built directly around audience relationships,” FCS chief Billy Parks said in a statement. “We’re partnering with creators who already understand their audience, already have momentum, and are building real businesses around their ideas,” Parks continued.
