Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Peter Doocy announced on May 31, 2026 that his wife, Hillary Vaughn, is pregnant with their third child. Doocy, 38, made the announcement at the end of the Fox News program The Sunday Briefing. He said the child is due in November on his father’s birthday.

“And finally, I have some family news. This segment we were just doing, it’s aimed at America’s youngest citizens, I’ve got two at my house, you can see George there on the left and Bridget on the right,” Doocy said. “Well, here is a Fox News alert: another one is on the way.

Doocy added that the family will become a party of five upon the birth. He said the child will arrive in time for midterm coverage on The Sunday Briefing. Doocy has covered the White House since 2021.

Doocy’s daughter Bridget was born in February 2023. His son George was born in April 2025. Doocy told viewers the new baby is expected in November 2026. com reported.

Doocy previously had two children with Vaughn before the current pregnancy. This information is extraneous to the pregnancy announcement and should be removed. In April 2025 a pigeon landed on his head during a Fox and Friends segment on tariffs imposed by Trump on China and a water dispute with Mexico.

In May 2025 he had another altercation with a bird while reporting on Trump’s order to re-open Alcatraz for America’s Newsroom.
