FromSoftware Announces Summer 2026 Closed Network Test for Duskbloods on Switch 2, Reveals One-Minute Trailer With No New Gameplay

FromSoftware announced a closed network test for The Duskbloods during the Nintendo Direct on June 9, 2026. The test is scheduled for summer 2026 and will allow selected players to try the game before its planned 2026 launch on Nintendo Switch 2. A new trailer for The Duskbloods also premiered during the same Direct.

Com. The Duskbloods is a multiplayer game in which players fight with and against up to seven other players. It features blood-based powers that transform a character’s combat style, and participants compete to obtain a prize called the First Blood.

The game’s gothic setting has drawn comparisons to Bloodborne. FromSoftware first announced The Duskbloods in April 2025 as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. FromSoftware is also developing a port of Elden Ring for Nintendo Switch 2.

That version is scheduled for release on August 28, 2026. Nintendo and FromSoftware stated that The Duskbloods remains on track to launch before the end of 2026, though no specific month has been confirmed. Details on how players can apply for the closed network test will be announced later.
