Tyson Fury said he will return to the ring on August 1 in Dublin, one week after Anthony Joshua's scheduled comeback bout. Fury posted an Instagram story from training in Thailand with the caption: "Let's go August 1, Dublin, Ireland." The fight is expected to appear on a card organized by promoter Frank Warren.

Joshua will face Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25.

It will be his first fight since a December car crash in Nigeria.

The two former heavyweight champions are expected to meet in a "Battle of Britain" bout, likely in November. Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn stated the matchup is confirmed. Fury ended a 16-month retirement with a points win over Arslanbek Makhmudov in April. Promoter Frank Warren has ruled out Andy Ruiz Jr. as Fury's August opponent.
