Support for legal recognition of same-sex marriage fell three percentage points in the past year, according to a Gallup poll released this week. " Three percent had no opinion. The margin of error is plus or minus four percentage points.

Gallup recorded 68 percent support in May 2025 and 69 percent in May 2024. Opposition stood at 29 percent last year and 23 percent in 2024.
