Gaza Health Ministry Reports 1,041 Deaths Since October 2025 Ceasefire

The Gaza Health Ministry says at least 73,054 Palestinians have been killed and 173,480 injured in Gaza since October 2023. It recorded 1,041 of those deaths and 3,372 injuries since the October 2025 ceasefire took effect. The ministry stated that 786 bodies have been retrieved from rubble since the truce began.

It added that some victims remain buried under debris and civil defence crews have been unable to reach them.

Palestinians were killed and 43 wounded in Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip over the past day, the ministry said. The latest figures brought the total deaths recorded since the ceasefire to 1,041. A Palestinian nurse carries an injured child at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, according to Al Jazeera reporting.

Corps pledged to meet any U.S. strikes with a more forceful response as tit-for-tat attacks continue in the Gulf. U.S. President Trump renewed threats against Iran, stating there may come a point when the United States is no longer able to be reasonable.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi urged the U.S. to push Israel to stop its attacks on Lebanon. He added that the Strait of Hormuz remains under Iran’s total oversight and management for the next 30 days.

Dar and the EU’s foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas reviewed the regional situation in a phone call. Kallas expressed serious concerns about recent ceasefire violations. Dar emphasised the necessity for all parties to abide by the ceasefire agreement, according to Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry.

A helicopter belonging to Saudi Aramco crashed in Ras Tanura, killing all 14 Saudi citizens on board. Investigations are under way with the participation of relevant authorities to determine the causes.
