GB News will broadcast live coverage of Northern Ireland's July 12 parades from Royal Hillsborough on Monday, July 13. Demonstrations are scheduled across 18 venues, with Belfast hosting the longest parade route of the day. The network's programming will run through Breakfast, Britain's Newsroom and Good Afternoon Britain.
Dame Arlene Foster, Charlie Lawson and correspondent Dougie Beattie will present the coverage. Beattie has fronted the channel's Twelfth broadcasts for each of the past five years. Tens of thousands of participants are expected, including hundreds of bands and lodges.
Ballymena and Belfast are the only venues that hold demonstrations every year without fail. GB News reported that the coverage will include live reports from the field, interviews with participants and organisers, and analysis of the pageantry, music and community elements tied to the anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne.
Organisers expect attendances to remain strong despite the move into the working week, with visitors traveling from across the UK and beyond.
