GB News has launched in India via a partnership with NeoTV+, providing access to viewers across Asia. The deal, facilitated by iKO Media Group, marks a step in the channel's international growth. It follows recent expansions into the Middle East, North Africa, and the United States.
thecanary.coGB News has launched in India through a distribution deal with NeoTV+, granting the channel access to a fast-growing English-speaking audience across Asia. The agreement, delivered in partnership with iKO Media Group (iKOMG), makes GB News available to viewers in India and wider Asia via the NeoTV+ app. GB News reported that the deal accelerates its international expansion.
NeoTV+ has users across Asia, Africa, North America, and Europe, with distribution spanning Android TV, Roku, Google TV, Fire TV, mobile, set-top boxes, and web platforms. The app offers video-on-demand access to more than 250 live TV channels in eight languages and focuses on delivering Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) services tailored to diverse global audiences.
Key new markets for GB News include India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
IKOMG enabled the distribution of GB News onto the NeoTV+ platform through its content delivery capabilities, and the channel is now live on the service. Mareen Anthonipillai, executive director of programmatic at GB News, stated: “We are excited to partner with NeoTV+ to bring GB News to audiences in India.
This marks an important step in our international expansion, allowing us to reach new viewers while continuing to build long-term engagement with our existing global audience.
Rami Goldberg, senior vice president of sales at iKO Media Group, said: “At iKOMG, we’re proud to continue supporting GB News as they expand their global distribution. As a full end-to-end technology partner, we’ve worked closely to bring their content to platforms like NeoTV+, opening access to a large English-speaking audience in India while unlocking new monetisation opportunities through FAST.
Earlier this year, GB News expanded its reach across the Middle East and North Africa through a FAST-on-satellite (FASTonSAT) rollout with iKO Media Group.
That initiative increased GB News' 24/7 availability across the region. GB News also launched in the United States via the Truth+ streaming platform. These launches extend GB News' footprint into key international markets and broaden access to its programming among global English-speaking audiences.
