General Mills Recalls 736,000 Frozen Bread Rolls Sold to Restaurants Over Possible Glass

General Mills is recalling nearly 736,000 frozen Pillsbury bread rolls that may contain glass, CBS News reported. The recall covers 3,080 cases of Pillsbury Bread Rolls Hard Roll Dough, each holding 180 units of 2.25 ounces, for a total of 554,400 rolls.
The company began the recall on June 19 after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration posted the notice. The affected cases carry recall numbers H-1154-2026 for the hard roll dough and H-1155-2026 for the kaiser roll dough, with better-if-used-by dates of Oct.
12, 2026, and Oct. 13, 2026, respectively. General Mills distributed the cases in Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.
The rolls target commercial kitchens rather than retail consumers. Product descriptions on the General Mills website note that the items require only thawing, proofing and baking for back-of-house preparation. In addition to Pillsbury, General Mills owns brands including Betty Crocker, Cheerios, Lucky Charms and Nature Valley.
