Germany Factory Orders Fall 3.8% in April
German factory orders declined more than expected in April. The month-over-month drop followed a revised 4.5% increase in March.
financialpost.comGerman factory orders fell 3.8% in April from the prior month on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to data reported by @LiveSquawk. Economists had forecast a 2.0% decline, while March orders were revised to a 4.5% gain from the previously reported 5.0% increase. The working-day adjusted year-over-year measure rose 1.6% in April.
Analysts had projected a 4.8% increase, compared with a revised 6.1% gain in March.
