Glucksmann Draws 4,000 to First Presidential Rally in Aubervilliers

Raphaël Glucksmann held his first major presidential campaign rally on June 13, 2026, at the Docks de Paris in Aubervilliers, just north of Paris. A long line formed outside the venue before the event, and inside the hall was filled with a mix of older and younger supporters. Place Publique, the center-left party Glucksmann founded, stated that 4,000 people attended.

The turnout exceeded the most pessimistic forecasts, which had anticipated a sparse crowd. Glucksmann used the rally to reaffirm his "total determination" to run for president, drawing on the same fundamentals that produced his party's results in the 2024 European elections. Filmmaker Michel Hazanavicius and his partner Bérénice Bejo sat in the front row, along with journalist Anne Sinclair.

Socialist and Green figures were also present, including Yannick Jadot, who ran for the Greens in 2022. " She added, "We've been spinning our wheels for 10 years and watching opportunities slip by.
