Golf tournament enters final round at Royal Birkdale

The final round of the golf tournament at Royal Birkdale is underway. Several players remain within striking distance of the lead as the day progresses.

Si-woo recorded a second consecutive bogey after a putt on the 12th hole fell 15 feet short. Ryan Fox dropped a shot on the 11th hole and now sits at seven under par. Scottie Scheffler made a birdie on the fifth hole after driving near the green and chipping to four feet. He is now seven under par.

The final groups are running behind schedule after a rules issue earlier in the round. Tommy Fleetwood played his tee shot on a late hole and sent the ball into thick grass left of the fairway. Wind and pressure are expected to increase for players still on the course.
