Google introduced a personalization feature that lets users choose which news provider appears first in search results. The option applies to queries about current events and allows other sources to remain visible. Users can set a preferred source by clicking a provided link, signing into their Google account, and selecting the desired outlet.
The change takes effect immediately after the box is checked. The setting can be changed or removed at any time through account preferences. Google stated that the feature gives users more control over which articles are suggested first.
