droid-life.comGoogle Labs released Dreambeans, an iOS and Android app that creates a daily list of AI-illustrated stories drawn from a user’s Google account data. -based Google AI Ultra subscribers, with a waitlist open to users who have a personal Google account. Gozde Oznur, product lead for Dreambeans, said the app uses data from Gmail, Calendar, Photos, YouTube, and Search History.
With user permission, the system applies Personal Intelligence to connect information across those services and produce a finite collection of daily stories. Stories include suggestions for places to visit, topics to explore, things to try, upcoming trips, and events. Some stories recommend locations such as a new coffee shop near the user’s home.
Others draw on calendar entries, for example offering insights about living with a new puppy. Additional stories present news articles selected from the web according to the user’s past interests. The app limits output to a typical range of 10 to 14 stories per day.
Oznur said the design aims to limit time spent on the phone and encourage users to pursue the ideas offline. Processing occurs overnight while the user sleeps. Oznur stated that the name Dreambeans reflects this schedule: the dream portion refers to work done during sleep, and the beans portion refers to the morning delivery of a concentrated set of ideas, comparable to a cup of coffee.
Only the individual user can access the generated stories. Users may delete their data at any time and may select which Google services connect to the app. TechCrunch reported that Dreambeans launched on or before June 3, 2026.
