Governors Ball Music Festival Opens in Queens with K-Pop Headliners

at the Festival K-pop acts have appeared at Governors Ball since 2023, when aespa became the first such group to perform. P1Harmony followed in 2024 as the first K-pop boy group, and wave to earth appeared in 2025. In 2026, K-pop acts headline for the first time.
Stray Kids headline the Saturday bill. The group has sold out stadiums worldwide and is performing on its largest U.S. festival stage to date. Jennie headlines Sunday alongside A$AP Rocky. Her appearance marks the first time a BLACKPINK member has headlined a major American music festival as a solo artist.
KATSEYE performs without one member who is on hiatus. The group released the single "Pinky Up" ahead of an August EP. Friday's supporting acts include Japanese Breakfast, Clipse, Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist, Dominic Fike, Blood Orange, The Dare, Arcy Drive, and Audrey Hobert.
Saturday also features Kali Uchis, Major Lazer, Pierce the Veil, Mariah the Scientist, Wet Leg, and 2hollis. Sunday includes Ravyn Lenae, Amyl and the Sniffers, Geese, Del Water Gap, Lexa Gates, and Hemlocke Springs. Last-minute tickets remain available through the festival website.
