GPS Interference Reported Across Persian Gulf Region

A publicly available GPSJAM map displayed high interference concentrated in four clusters across the Persian Gulf on the night of May 22, 2026. The clusters covered the Strait of Hormuz and Musandam Peninsula, the southern Gulf coast from the UAE toward Qatar, the central Gulf over Bahrain and Saudi Arabia's eastern coast, and the northern Gulf from Kuwait City to the Iraqi border.

U.S. forces. U.S. Fifth Fleet. Qatar hosts Al Udeid Air Base. The UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia also host American assets.
