Great American State Fair menu released for 16-day Washington event
Organizers released the menu for the Great American State Fair this week. The 16-day event on the National Mall will run from Thursday through July 10 and include food vendors, wellness programming, and daily rodeo performances.

The Great American State Fair menu was released this week for the 16-day event scheduled on Washington, D.C.'s National Mall. The free festival, organized to mark 250 years of American independence, opens Thursday and continues through July 10.
Food offerings and vendors Attendees can choose from vendors including Mazz 'a' Mia's and Juicys Famous Fair Food, which will offer corn dogs, New York-style pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and popcorn. Local businesses such as Lucky Buns, Chop Shop, and Get Baked Pretzels will also operate stands.
A food challenge from sandwich shop Bub and Pop's is planned, along with "MAHA Mondays" on June 29 and July 7 that will feature programming on food and wellness topics.
Programming and attractions Programming on the "food-as-medicine" movement will include presentations by Judy's Pancakes, influencer "Holistic Hilda," Polyface Farm's Joel Salatin, a Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. aide Calley Means, and Steak 'n Shake's "chief MAHA officer," according to Axios.
The fair will also include a 110-foot Ferris wheel, a refurbished Smithsonian carousel, quilting competitions, and exhibits on agriculture, industry, and cultural heritage. A daily rodeo will present demonstrations tracing the evolution of the American cowboy from Spanish vaquero traditions through modern professional rodeo.
