The 20-year-old guard will not play in the 2026 NBA Summer League after undergoing a scope on his right knee. General manager Sean Marks announced the decision Monday. Marks said the player suffered the injury last season and that a full recovery is expected before training camp. The guard averaged 8.9 points per game during his rookie season while shooting 38 percent from the field.
Team roster moves The team also signed Josh Minott to a two-year, $9 million contract. Day’Ron Sharpe agreed to a two-year, $20 million deal, and the team exercised its option on Malachi Smith.
