Gunkul Engineering expects annual revenue to reach 10 billion baht in 2026, up from 8.5 billion baht in 2025 when more than a fourth of revenue came from electricity sales. The company is run by CEO Naruechon Dhumrongpiyawut, daughter of the founder. Gunkul Dhumrongpiyawut established the firm in 1982 as a supplier of electrical equipment.
He secured a contract from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand in 2007 to install a wind turbine and later developed solar power plants and wind farms in Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and Vietnam.
