Haeran Ryu shot an 11-under-par 60 in the third round of the Evian Championship on July 11, 2026, setting the scoring record for the lowest round in an LPGA major, ESPN reported. The South Korean player birdied four of her last five holes at Evian Golf Resort and finished with a lengthy two-putt birdie on the 18th after missing a chance at 59.
Ryu reached 18-under-par 194 for the tournament and held a three-shot lead.
Aki Iwai shot 65 and trailed by three shots. Brooke Henderson carded 64 and Mao Saigo shot 67, both seven shots behind. Lottie Woad, who began the round with a one-shot lead, shot 72 and fell nine strokes back.
The previous low round in an LPGA major was 61, achieved by Hyo Joo Kim in 2014 and by Leona Maguire and Jeongeun Lee6 in 2021.
