Police arrested the man at his home on May 13. He faces four charges: possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, trafficking in property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of proceeds of crime, and operation while prohibited.
Officers recovered a number of the stolen vases during the investigation. Police stated they plan to return the items to the affected families. The cemetery is a popular local spot for exercise and for leaving flowers at graves, especially around holidays.
