Hapoel Tel Aviv Defeats Real Madrid 76-69 in EuroLeague Game 3

Hapoel Tel Aviv defeated Real Madrid Baloncesto 76-69 on Tuesday night in Game 3 of their EuroLeague quarterfinal series. Game 4 is set for Thursday night at the same neutral-site arena in Bulgaria that has served as Hapoel Tel Aviv's home court. Real Madrid took an early lead behind Facundo Campazzo and Gabriel Deck.

Chris Jones and Elijah Bryant responded for Hapoel Tel Aviv, trimming the deficit to 36-34 by halftime. Hapoel Tel Aviv took the lead for good in the later stages. Antonio Blakeney and Dan Oturu helped the team maintain momentum through the final period.

Bryant and Jones each scored 19 points to pace Hapoel Tel Aviv. Micic added 13 points in the win. The coach noted that the team overcame a 10-point deficit by finding the right chemistry and using its full bench. The coach also highlighted winning the rebounding battle and holding Real Madrid to 69 points.

Real Madrid coach Sergio Scariolo addressed the loss after the game. "It’s almost impossible to beat one of the top teams in the competition five straight times, but we came close. " Bryant said his team played with energy and urgency after being out-hustled in the previous game in Madrid.

In domestic league play, Ironi Ness Ziona defeated Hapoel Holon 104-98. Desi Rodriguez scored 24 points and Bryce Brown added 18 points for the visitors while Marques Bolden contributed 18 points. Adama Sanogo led Hapoel Holon with 26 points and Darin Green Jr.

scored 21 points in the loss. Bnei Herzliya defeated Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan 104-88. Six players scored in double figures for Bnei Herzliya after the team built a 56-43 halftime lead. Shalev Lugashi scored 19 points and Zack Bryant added 18 points in the victory.

Gil Beni and Terrell Brown Jr. each scored 17 points for Ramat Gan. Elitzur Netanya defeated Maccabi Ra'anana 102-77. Otis Frazier scored 35 points with a game efficiency rating of 50 to lead the hosts. Amit Gershon added 20 points and Cameron Oliver scored 18 points in the win.

Tyrece Radford recorded 18 points and Javion Hamlet scored 17 points for Ra'anana.
