Hien Truong Wins Men's Singles at 2026 Kuala Lumpur Open
Hien Truong defeated Hung Anh Nguyen and Nasa Hatakeyama to win the men's singles title at the 2026 Panas Kuala Lumpur Open. Several lower-seeded players advanced past top seeds in both men's and women's draws.

The Professional Pickleball Association held the 2026 Panas Kuala Lumpur Open in Malaysia this weekend. The 500-level event drew mostly Asia-based players along with a smaller number of competitors from the United States and Australia.
Truong won the men's singles title.
Truong defeated Hung Anh Nguyen in the semifinals and Nasa Hatakeyama in the final. Hatakeyama had earlier defeated Hong Kit Wong and Zane Navratil. Hung Anh Nguyen reached the semifinals after wins over Jace Morris and Tama Shimabukuro.
Wang won the women's singles title.
Wang defeated Pei-Chuan Kao in the final after both players advanced through the semifinals. Albie Huang and Mihae Kwon also reached the semifinals.
Truong won the mixed doubles title.
The top seeds defeated Chai-Yi Wang and Len Yang in the final. Vanshik Kapadia and Jamie Haas reached the semifinals after wins over the No. 4 seeds.
Yang won the men's doubles title.
Johns and Yang defeated Tama Shimabukuro and Armaan Bhatia in the final.
Wei won the women's doubles title.
Long and Wei defeated Alix Truong and Chao-Yi Wang in the final.
