Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner said Florida and Texas are ahead of the game on housing affordability. He singled out Florida for opportunities and said Texas is doing a great job. Turner made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital from the National Mall on one of the final days of the Great American State Fair.
He added that Philadelphia is dialed in and working very well together on housing. Omaha, Nebraska, has great collaboration and working relationships, he said. Turner stated that the Trump administration is easing the regulatory environment, bringing the cost down, raising the supply so builders can build and homeowners can buy.
Fox News reported that Turner is the current U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President Donald Trump.
