Hundred 2026 squads set after first player auction
Teams in the men's and women's competitions have completed squad building following the inaugural auction. Salary caps and minimum spending requirements apply to all eight sides.

The Hundred completed its first player auction for the 2026 season, replacing the previous draft system used in the competition's first five editions. Squads for the eight teams now contain between 16 and 18 players each. A salary cap and salary collar apply, with teams required to meet a minimum spending threshold.
Men's competition The salary pot for each men's team rose 45 percent to £2.05 million. London Spirit paid £390,000 for 21-year-old James Coles, the highest amount recorded in the men's auction. Birmingham Phoenix named Jacob Bethell captain at £340,000.
Welsh Fire signed Jordan Cox for £300,000 and Joe Root for £240,000. Southern Brave acquired Jofra Archer for £400,000 and Adil Rashid for £250,000. Sunrisers Leeds paid £465,000 for Harry Brook.
Women's competition The salary fund for each women's team doubled to £880,000.
Sunrisers Leeds signed Danielle Gibson for £190,000, the highest amount in the women's auction. Southern Brave added Issy Wong for £130,000 and Tilly Corteen-Coleman for £105,000. Welsh Fire signed Sophie Devine for £210,000. Teams may add two wildcard selections after the T20 Blast concludes.
