Hybe on Monday unveiled the name and logo of its upcoming girl group Tuide through a composite image provided by ABD. The name derives from the phrase "Tune the tide," which the company said reflects the group's aim to highlight each member's individuality while forming a harmonious sound. Yonhap reported that the seven-member act will be the first to debut under the company's new label ABD.
Veteran producer Han Sung-soo of Pledis Entertainment will lead production for Tuide. He has previously worked with artists including Seventeen, After School, Iz*one and TWS. Tuide's debut will expand Hybe's roster of girl groups, which includes Le Sserafim under Source Music, NewJeans under ADOR, Illit under Belift Lab and Katseye under Hybe Labels.
