Independent MP criticizes former Labour leader's record and urges policy changes

Comments on party direction The MP said he supports the incoming Prime Minister and described him as down to earth and working class. He stated that the incoming leader had sensible positions and that delivery of policy matters more than cabinet composition or specific personalities.

The MP criticized some Labour members who publicly pledged support for the outgoing leader and then nominated him for the leadership role. He said he had been part of the incoming Prime Minister's campaign team in 2015.
