The agreement was announced on Thursday. International Paper agreed to acquire North Pacific Paper Company from One Rock Capital Partners for $360 million. North Pacific Paper Company's mill is located in Longview, Washington.
The mill produces about one million tons of containerboard annually. The mill is expected to enhance International Paper's system flexibility. International Paper management called the deal a strong strategic fit.
International Paper had $145 billion as of December 31, 2025.
