Iran Fires Missiles at Gulf States and Cargo Ship Following U.S. Airstrikes

The United States launched fresh airstrikes on Iran early Thursday. Tehran responded by firing missiles at Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan. Iranian state media claimed Bahrain and Kuwait are firing on Iran and are actively involved in the strikes, with unconfirmed reports of HIMARS launches from Bahraini soil.

A civilian crew member remains missing from the burning vessel. Oman proposed fully reopening the southern route at Saturday's talks. Iran's delegation could not approve the proposal and took it to Tehran.
