Kuwait's defense ministry said Wednesday that Iranian forces launched 13 ballistic missiles and 17 drones toward the country since dawn. Kuwaiti forces intercepted the projectiles, but falling debris struck Kuwait International Airport and other sites.

The attack killed one Indian national and wounded 63 people, seven of whom required major surgery, Kuwait's health ministry said. Kuwaiti officials described the strikes as targeting civilian and vital facilities. Iran stated the salvo was retaliation for recent U.S. airstrikes on Iranian military positions.

U.S. Central Command described its own actions as self-defense strikes.

Trump said Tuesday that indirect talks with Iran were continuing despite Iranian state media reports that negotiations had been suspended. He told the New York Post he had not yet decided whether to sign a potential agreement extending the ceasefire. Bahrain reported that its air defenses intercepted three Iranian missiles and several drones on the same day.

Lebanon's army said Wednesday that an Israeli drone strike killed one soldier and wounded two others near Nabatieh. The army accused Israeli forces of deliberately targeting its personnel during operations against Hezbollah. A senior United Arab Emirates presidential advisor called on Persian Gulf states to adopt a unified stance against what he termed Iranian aggression.
