Iran Launches Missiles at U.S. Bases in Bahrain and Kuwait After Strikes Kill Supreme Leader

Iranian forces launched missiles and drones targeting U.S. bases in Bahrain and Kuwait on Thursday, according to statements from the Bahrain Defence Force, Kuwait Army and Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps reported by @ABC. Kuwait air defenses intercepted at least three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile and 10 drones, with debris causing material damage in several locations and injuring one person whose condition is stable.

Bahrain air defense systems destroyed a number of the incoming attacks. U.S. Central Command said American forces completed a second round of strikes against Iran late Wednesday, hitting roughly 90 military targets that included air defense systems, coastal surveillance assets, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities and military logistics infrastructure along Iran's coastline.

The previous night, U.S. forces struck approximately 80 Iranian military targets, the command said. Iranian lead negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated the Strait of Hormuz will only open with Iranian arrangements.

"America still hasn’t learned that bullying and breaking promises are no longer cost-free," Ghalibaf said. "If you strike, you’ll get hit. " Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps described the attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait as retaliation for prior U.S.
