Iran's state TV reported that the IRGC fired warning shots at two ships attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz. A correspondent near the strait stated that the vessels were targeted and stopped after attempting to cross illegally. The Strait of Hormuz carries about one-fifth of the world's energy resources. Iran and the U.S. have been competing for authority over the trade route.

Yemen government response Yemen's defence minister, Taher al-Aqili, said the government would respond appropriately to what it described as a breach of Yemeni airspace by Iran and the Houthi group. A statement from the Presidential Leadership Council cited repeated violations of Yemeni sovereignty.
The council said the Houthi militia disregarded legal frameworks by receiving a new Iranian flight. PLC Chairman Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi held the Houthi militia responsible for the escalation.
U.S. strikes on Abadan U.S. missiles struck three locations in Iran's western city of Abadan at 1:45pm local time. Mehr news agency reported that at least two people were killed and three wounded.
Regional developments Israeli forces released video footage of what they said were hidden tunnels under Lebanon's Beaufort Castle. The Israeli army recaptured the fortress in June during an expanded ground invasion of southern Lebanon. Intermittent artillery fire continued between Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kfar Tebnit in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Health Ministry reported more than 4,300 people killed and 12,200 wounded since Israel's invasion began on March 2. Bahrain's military said its air defence systems intercepted Iranian missile and drone attacks. The kingdom placed all military units on high alert.
