Iran Attacks US Bases in Jordan and Bahrain After Downing US Helicopter
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they hit four targets at a US base in Jordan and one in Bahrain on Wednesday. The strikes followed US attacks on Iranian ports and islands in the Strait of Hormuz after the downing of a US Apache helicopter.

[Al-Monitor] Iran attacks US bases in Jordan and Bahrain <p>Iran attacked American bases in Jordan and Bahrain on Wednesday, warning its Gulf neighbours that they had a "responsibility" to stop the United States and Israel from using their territory to strike the Islamic republic.</p><p>The strikes came after the US carried out its own attacks on Iran in response to the shooting down of an American helicopter, straining a ceasefire that took effect in April.</p>

The IRGC said it struck 21 US targets and destroyed four of them, including an F-35 hangar at the Jordan base, and claimed it also shot down a US MQ-9 drone over the Iranian city of Jam.
