Iran and U.S. Plan Talks in Doha on Frozen Assets Release

Iranian officials said dialogue with Qatar on implementing an interim deal with the U.S. is likely to take place Wednesday in Doha. The talks will address the release of frozen assets, according to statements from Iranian officials.

The interim agreement between Iran and the U.S. was reached earlier this year. It includes provisions for asset releases that have not yet been carried out.

Qatar has served as mediator between the two sides. Officials said the country will host the upcoming session.
