Iranian commander says U.S.-Iran memorandum has collapsed, blames U.S. actions

IRGC commander Mohsen Rezaei stated on Iranian state TV that the memorandum between Iran and the United States has collapsed. @MarioNawfal reported that Rezaei attributed the collapse entirely to the American side. He cited Israel's continued presence in southern Lebanon, the carving of an illegal shipping route through the Strait of Hormuz next to Iran's legal one, repeated strikes on Iranian territory, and the failure to release Iran's frozen assets.

U.S. signed the memorandum only to buy time while conducting war and negotiation simultaneously. He said the U.S. used Iran's two-week ceasefire to complete its naval blockade while talks continued.
