Iranian Dissident Warns Against US-Iran Deal During Fragile Ceasefire After Joint Strikes

A 41-year-old Iranian dissident living in southern Iran sent a video diary to GB News while dodging internet blackouts and the regime’s secret police. He warned that the hardline Islamic regime, in power since the 1979 revolution, is using the uneasy ceasefire to hunt down and kill opponents.

A 41-year-old Iranian dissident sent a video diary to GB News from a city in southern Iran while spending hundreds of pounds at a time to bypass the country’s internet blackout and lying low to avoid the attention of the Islamic Republic’s secret police.

The hardline Islamic regime has used the ceasefire to hunt down and kill opponents to the regime. The regime that has ruled with ruthless impunity since the revolution in 1979 now has what the dissident described as its best opportunity to target those who speak out.

"Now that the regime is in a ceasefire, it has the best opportunity to go after its opponents, suppress them, and remove them," the dissident said. " The joint US-Israel Operation Epic Fury began on February 28 with devastating attacks on Iran and its military infrastructure. An uneasy ceasefire has largely held since early April.

President Trump hailed the beginning of Project Freedom last week. Project Freedom is a US operation to free up vessels stuck in the Strait of Hormuz. It was quickly paused on Tuesday after Mr Trump revealed “great progress” had been made in talks with Iran’s leaders.

The dissident expressed fear that the United States could abandon Iran’s opposition if a deal is reached. He told GB News that Britain and most Western countries should be worried about potential revenge actions by an extremist religious government after suffering serious damage.

Definitely yes," the dissident said. Iranian proxies operating across the West have been linked with attacks on Jewish people and property.

The dissident stated that such attacks occur and that extremist governments do not need weapons to kill Jews. "Do many attacks take place here against Jews and other people? Definitely yes.

Definitely not. They need human beings with empty and fanatical minds and black hearts empty of love. They can, with small promises, send many people to kill innocent individuals," he said. "So instead of confronting your enemies in your own country, come and solve this issue from its roots so that in the future you do not face these problems," the dissident added.

The dissident voiced longstanding solidarity between Iranians and Americans while recalling a pivotal moment in 1979. He directly addressed President Trump, citing the slogan Make America Great Again and urging him not to repeat past decisions. "We, the people of Iran, have always felt solidarity with the people of America.

But we think that at some point in history, in 1979, the United States abandoned us, the people of Iran, and we, the people of Iran, became victims of the wrong decisions of a number of politicians," the dissident said. "But now my message to President Trump is this: Mr.

President, you, as the most patriotic president of America, who want to restore America’s credibility with the slogan Make America Great Again.

You should know that we, the people of Iran, expect you not to abandon us again. " He reserved his final message for the British public, noting that voices of Iranian opponents are heard in Britain through gatherings and protests. The people of Iran have faced serious problems and restrictions for years and still hope their rights will be recognised.

"My message to the great and honourable people of Britain is that perhaps you are not fully aware of the realities inside Iran. But the voices of many Iranians opposed to the Islamic Republic of Iran are heard in your country, especially in gatherings and protests.

They still hope that a day will come when their rights are recognised and their voices are heard," the dissident said. GB News reported the dissident’s warnings and appeals while he remains inside Iran under the current uneasy ceasefire.
