Iranian naval forces coordinated the passage of 20 ships through the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours, according to a report by Fars News Agency citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps navy. The Joint Maritime Information Centre, a multinational body monitoring maritime security in the Indian Ocean, stated that the threat level in the strait remains critical due to the ongoing U.S. maritime blockade against Iran-linked port facilities.

Oman’s maritime security centre separately detected a floating object suspected to be a naval mine west of the Inshore Traffic Zone inside Omani territorial waters and urged vessels to exercise caution.

Israeli air strikes early Saturday killed three people and wounded more than a dozen others as forces advanced operations in southern Lebanon, Lebanon’s Health Ministry said. The municipality of Zifta ordered residents to seek shelter and avoid movement after repeated evacuation warnings.

Israeli forces launched more than 10 strikes across southern Lebanon, with video footage showing damage in affected areas. Hezbollah stated it fired about 15 rockets toward northern Israel, including at the Meron base air traffic control unit and the settlement of Kiryat Shmona.

Since a ceasefire took effect on October 11, the ministry said Israeli attacks have killed 929 Palestinians and wounded 2,811 others, while rescue teams recovered 781 bodies from previously inaccessible areas.
