Multiple Iranian ballistic missiles struck the U.S. Air Force’s Combined Air Operations Centre at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar during the early weeks of the Iran War. The strikes severely damaged the facility, which had directed U.S.

air campaigns across the Middle East for more than two decades, and rendered it inoperable. A senior U.S. official and other people informed about the attack told Air & Space Forces Magazine that no personnel were injured.

The air campaign against Iran was directed from a facility at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina at the time of the attack.
