Speaking at the National Industry and Mining Day ceremony, Pezeshkian said Iran moved forward step by step in the negotiations.
He added that Iran’s main position was to open the Strait of Hormuz for oil exports and other vital issues, but the other side violated the deal. “The achievements of the Islamic Republic in this direction far exceeded expectations, and we were able to manage various issues well in a short time,” Pezeshkian said.
Momeni met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad. The meeting was the second during Momeni’s visit that started earlier in the day. Momeni also met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the army chief of staff, according to the IRNA news agency.
